The Marta family started Marta’s Pet & Aquaria in 1971 in the town of Old Weston, now Toronto. 22 years ago, John Emmanouil took over ownership and made Marta’s the family business. Both his daughters and his wife, along with a small crew of employees and volunteers make up the team at Marta’s.
Our relationship with you is a personal one and we take your concerns seriously. At Marta’s we pride ourselves on creating relationships with our core customers that go beyond an individual’s purchase. We mean it when we say, “We take the time to answer your questions”. We learn about your needs, your pets’ needs, and we do our best to satisfy you.
We invest time to advise customers on proper aquarium maintenance, fish disease, bird care and training, breeding, kitten and puppy care, and nutrition. We are dedicated to creating a relationship with you that will keep you coming back time and time again.

Mon, Tues & Wed 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.Thursday & Friday 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Saturday 9:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Sunday 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Parking is available in front of the store at all times.
